January 2017 Uganda Mission Trip

Uganda Mission Testimonies January 10-24, 2017 Seminars, Medical Clinic, Compassion House Dedication, Prison Services, Refugee Camp God brought Sarah and I, along with Lester Miller and six young people together for two weeks of ministry. We initially met with 120 native church leaders for three days of intense seminar teaching. There was such a sincere hunger for the word of God (and more Bibles), along with laughter and brokenness. The village crusade to the Congolese Pygmies that followed was heartbreaking. They are a people group that literally lives in the woods under the trees. We conducted prison services in... Read more

Ministry of Compassion

Compassion Ministry An Amazing Platform To Share The Gospel  Jesus saw the multitude of people (Matt. 9:36) and was moved with compassion. They needed help, hope and direction. The Good Samaritan saw a need (Luke 10), had compassion, and got personally involved. Compassion serves the needs of others. The Good Samaritan gave financial provision to the Inn Keeper to care for the wounded man. The Inn Keeper then became involved in ministering to the wounded man. Compassion ministry is not a spectator sport but it gets people involved and plants vision.   Why in this parable didn’t Jesus choose... Read more

Canon City, CO Revival Meeting Testimonies

Canon City, CO Revival Meeting Testimonies This 24 day tour was centered on a week of revival meetings in Canon City, Colorado. Coming and to and from Colorado were one night stops in prisons and churches in the states of Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska. We are so grateful to God for all the open doors and opportunities on this journey. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 2 Corinthians 4:7 -Dave Miller I praise God for bringing your family to Skyline Mennonite... New Building Project

New Building Project Phase 2 A year ago plans were set in motion for an addition to the office (Phase 1) for much needed additional offices and a conference room. That addition is completed and we are enjoying the fruits of many generous donors and laborers who helped. The plans for Phase 2 have been finalized with our Executive Board. We plan to break ground sometime this spring. This larger multi-purpose building (as pictured) will provide housing for house parents and new housing for our VS staff, along with much needed storage, and finally: a permanent structure for... Uganda March Mission Testimonies

Uganda March Mission Testimonies     March 2-13, 2016        Refugee Camp, Compassion House, medical clinic, prisons…   My African eye witnessed the construction at the compassion house. The Pennsylvania team through giving clothes and food to refugees, Bibles, soap to prisoners, helping at the medical clinic, and various construction projects, revealed such a hardworking heart. The locals thought that they had prepared enough materials for construction only to be surprised that in 2 hours all materials were finished! Therefore, let us not only give to people, but also teach them to work… to work hard. Thank... Read more

There was so much to do in 4 days and so little time. We laugh, we cry, we pray for the victims and their families… but we also pray for the prisoners to get right with God so they will become good Christians and good citizens at the same time. We are not there to try to... Read more

Bible Study Courses

Bible Study Courses “Teach me O Lord, the way of your statutes” Psalms 119:33a God has really blessed the Bible study course ministry with being able to send Bible studies all over the US & Canada. We are working on a Spanish translation of the Roman’s course, a big project that should be done by the end of 2016, Lord willing. This will open up more opportunities for people to become involved; people that can read and understand Spanish to be able to grade tests and to communicate with Spanish-speaking inmates. I would like to say “Thank You” to... Read more

Sean Bontrager Family

Farewell Sean Bontrager Family In September, 2013 Sean, Lori, and their 7 children made the move from Westcliffe, Colorado to Columbus, North Carolina. They were brought on board as a singing team… and sing they could! God blessed the family with incredible harmony and gifted Sean to write a lot of their songs. Many of you have been familiar with the family’s journey, and specifically the ongoing battle that Lori has had with Lyme’s disease. Life on the road has made it difficult for Lori to build her strength/immune system up and therefore brought uncertainty in scheduling tours and... Read more
